Amy Wilson specialises in applied consumer behaviour in health and wellbeing contexts. She works as a VP Corporate Strategy for a Swiss digital health start-up, and as a Research and Insights Consultant for the Australian-based Global Centre for Modern Ageing.
Amy has a background in psychology and marketing and a passion for optimising health and wellbeing of individuals and communities through consumer-focused products and service provision and effective behavioural change initiatives. Her focus is on using consumer insights to inform the co-design of new innovations for both start-ups, SMEs and large corporations, and how evidence-based advertising and communication can be used to facilitate behaviours that are health promoting.
Amy teaches marketing and consumer behaviour subjects to university students and start-ups around the world. She also works on cross-disciplinary industry and academic projects, has published in various high-quality psychology, marketing and health journals, and is a co-author for the social marketing chapter in ‘Marketing – theory, evidence, practice’ (Oxford University Press, 2013).
